MISCHA 9 months, Female, Black
What a sweetheart!  This black beauty came into our care in her 4 month of life, having low weight and development
of lab younger then her time.  This little fighter, against all odds, continues to improve every day by reaching small
milestones of development.  Mischa has a very thin frame, and had a lack of energy due to malnutrition and frail body.

Mischa is sweet, gentle and loves to cuddles.  Her favourite past time includes cuddling up on the couch with her
foster mom, watching TV and eating lots of treats, like a true Lab!  She loves playing with other dogs and can
sometimes tire them out but her low energy level forces her to take frequent rests.  Mischa is of course house
trained, understands "sit" and has good recall for such a young pup.
Mischa has had a rocky start to her young life and the extent of the damage remains unknown.  Mischa is considered
to be a "special needs" dog as she will require further medical care.  Due to her young age, we simply do not know
her future prognosis.  Lab Rescue has gone through a rigorous investigation as to Mischa and her condition which
included many tests for various conditions that have all been ruled out. At this time it has been concluded that she is
not in any pain and that she just likely had a rocky start in life. Misha has been seen by a top Neurologist and
underwent an MRI in order to provide her adoptive family with as much information as possible.

Mischa's ideal "forever home" should include a family that is committed to following through on medical attention
should she require anything in the future and ensuring that our little Angel gets the care required, post adoption, that
she deserves.  The family would need to understand that Mischa's road in life is unknown BUT she is so worth it.
You just need to look into to her eyes to realize that!  Please open your heart and your home to our little black beauty
and you will never be alone again!

Foster Update: Mischa is incredible and so sweet. She loves to hang with
other dogs and below are some pictures from her play day on April 11th. It
was her first time dipping her legs in the creek and she had a super time!
