| This girl is NO senior! Kelly is a super girl that has a puppyish spirit about her. Always happy, eager, alert and ready to respond to early to commands. She is super intelligent and seems excited to learn. She was surrendered to us from a family that felt dogs are only to be left outside because they claim she wanted to be outside. Well we are here to say "NO WAY!". She loves her new life with her foster mommy! She is adjusting so well. A pleasure in the house, well mannered and eager to greet her foster mommy after work with a bum wiggle. While Kelly is considered quite a star on lead under simple conditions, she can pull when she seems something that interests her. She has taken a training lesson to adjust to the stimuli using proper techniques from the handler. She would benefit from continuing to expose her to sights and sounds that can be found in more urban living. She currently walks on an eazee walker and is doing well with it. Kelly is in great shape physically, quite stealth looking and bounces like a 4 year old girl. Kelly has not been exposed to much in her 9 years. Her first introductions to doggie friends went very well and after a few short minutes she was romping around in the back yard. But she still gets startled on a walk when dogs rush at her so she will need to go slow and get to know a dog before engaging comfortably. Kelly is sleeping well in her new environment and is quite relaxed to received lots of love. She is quite a cuddle bug and loves all the new attention that she is receiving and will look at you instantly when you call her name eager to figure out what you are saying. This girl has the softest, most luscious fur and the sweetest eyes. |
