Astrid is a sweet, petite 2-year-old girl with a heart full of curiosity and a spirit ready to blossom. She’s just beginning to explore the world, and she’s taking it all in stride with quiet confidence and a playful spark.

Astrid is fantastic with people—gently affectionate and friendly. She’ll hop up with a happy “hello,” resting her paws on your chest to say, “I like you!” (She even gave her vet a warm welcome this way!) She loves being close, enjoys pets and affection, and is easy to handle—no issues at all when putting on her harness or touching around her collar and neck.

She’s great with older kids and teens and showed genuine curiosity and calm interest when seeing children at the park. Astrid has also shown polite curiosity around other dogs—initially a little unsure, but very gentle and eager to make friends once she warms up.

This toy-loving girl is not possessive—she’ll happily share her favorite Jolly Ball, and you can take toys or treats from her with no issue. She’s food-motivated, especially when the treats are just right (peanut butter for the win!), and took her Nexgard with ease.

Astrid rides quietly in the car, though she may get a bit carsick with nerves—something that could improve with time and comfort.

She’s very manageable on leash and surprisingly relaxed for her age. While a bit skittish with sudden noises, she bounces back with curiosity and tail wags. What she needs now is a loving, patient family ready to help her build confidence and discover all the good things in life—maybe even how to swim!
