Meet Bentley!

Hi, I’m Bentley, a 5-year-old boy with a happy-go-lucky-personality looking for a family with time to hike, walk, and help me make new dog friends everyday.

I’m a happy guy who loves people, even if I get a little too excited to say hello. I might jump up when I meet you—it’s just my way of showing how thrilled I am! I love the attention the kiddo’s give me and I’d be best suited for older, dog savvy ones, if any in my home. Being a food-savvy Lab, I don’t hesitate to help myself to food at my level but when you sit at the dinner table, it’s my cue to go chill on my bed until you’re done. 

I’ve always been good with other dogs and even lived with one.  Big or small, and I love to run and play when I meet them. On walks, I get super excited when I see another dog and try to pull to say hello, but I mean well—I just want to be friends.

At home, I’m a pretty chill guy. I spend most of my day lounging on the couch and sleeping. I don’t chew things or get into trouble when I’m left alone, and I’m perfectly content to relax until my people come back.

I’m great in the car, too. I’ll just sit and enjoy the ride as long as I’m with my family.

I’m sweet, cuddly, and affectionate—I just love being close to my people. I’d love a consistent routine of daily exercise and mental enrichment, and I’d thrive in a home where I can get the attention and love I need.
