Hi, I’m Blackee!

I’m a happy-go-lucky guy with a big heart and lots of potential, just waiting for the right family to help me thrive. I’ve spent time around children as young as 5, and I adore them! I’m also cool with cats—even the cheeky ones who sneak bites of my food. I’ve had a few big dog friends, too, and we got along great.

Most of my exercise so far has been roaming around my property, but I’ve gone on a few walks, and let me tell you—sniffing all those new smells is the best! I wear a flat collar for now, but I’d really benefit from training and using a harness. I know the basics like “sit” and “lay down,” but I’m excited to keep learning, especially if it means bonding with my new family in a training class.

Meeting people is one of my favourite things! Once I get my hello scratches, I’ll settle down and stick close to you like your shadow.

When it comes to playtime, fetch isn’t really my thing, but I LOVE tug-of-war and squeaky stuffy toys. I haven’t had the chance to try swimming yet, but who knows—maybe I’ll love it! I’m also a pro road trip buddy. Just open the car door, and I’ll hop in the back seat, ready to watch the world go by through the window.
