Candy

Hi There,

Candy here!  I’m a quiet girl, a bit on the shy side until I feel comfortable but once I feel secure, I will open up and let my beautiful personality shine bright.  Right now, I’m enjoying the peacefulness of my foster home, my new giant comfy bed and health meals. 

I’ve been around other dogs and got along very well with them. They were girls too and we used to run and have a blast together. I’m sure my new family can help me make some friends once I get settle in my new home. 

I’m not sure if I’ve met a cat or young children but I’m super sweet and gentle. 

My house manners are superb and I love when my foster whispers sweet nothings to me. My tail really starts to thump when she does that!

I’m learning about leash walking so doing the same route for a while will help me gain confidence in my new area. 

I’m looking for a family who will understand my journey and give me time and grace to build my skills. I so badly want to be loved and feel that connection with my people. Once we’ve built our bond, the sky is the limit for where our relationship will take us.
