Meet Coco!

Coco is a handsome 10-year-old black Labrador retriever who has spent his entire life in a loving home. He’s a well-adjusted, happy boy who’s used to the sights and sounds of suburban life and thrives in a home with people around but is perfectly fine if left alone.

Coco enjoys the simple things in life: daily walks, lounging on his bed. He’s friendly and social, always eager to greet new people at the door with a bark to announce their arrival before settling down to say hello. He’s great with kids, loves attention, and has never shown aggression to anyone.

What Coco loves:

• Dogs: He enjoys meeting other dogs and is happy to greet them with excitement before continuing his walk.

• Cats: Coco currently lives with a cat, though the cat prefers to keep its distance. He’s curious about cats but has no history of issues, aside from occasionally sneaking their food.

• Walks: He walks well on a flat collar and leash. He hasn’t been walked off-leash recently but previously did well at dog parks.

• Routine: Coco is a creature of habit. He eats twice daily (chicken and rice kibble suits him best) and prefers a steady routine to keep his sensitive tummy happy.

Special skills:

Coco has an extraordinary ability to detect when his owner is about to have a seizure, alerting family members with his barking. While he wasn’t formally trained for this, his instinctive care has been life-saving.

What to know about Coco:

• He’s not a fan of fireworks or thunder and will stay close to you for comfort.

• He enjoys car rides but does better with open windows or being tethered to keep him calm.

• He loves being near his person and tends to stick close throughout the day.

Coco would thrive in a loving home with a calm environment and people who appreciate his affectionate nature and companionship. He’s ready to bring joy and loyalty to his new forever family.

Could Coco be the perfect fit for your home?
