Meet Kelso!

This handsome Lab mix is approximately 3.5 years old and weighs in at a solid 80 pounds of love and gentleness. With a calm and easygoing temperament, Kelso is an absolute pleasure to have around and a true joy to spend time with.

Approved for homes with other dogs and children 10+, Kelso is a well-mannered house guest. He’s had zero accidents, isn’t into counter-surfing, and doesn’t get into mischief. He enjoys playing with toys—especially balls, soft squeaky toys, and Kongs stuffed with goodies—and he happily eats his meals from a slow feeder, getting 2 cups of kibble twice a day.

Kelso is very food-motivated and enjoys a variety of treats, which helps with his training and walking. On leash, he does quite well with a harness, occasionally needing a bit of encouragement in the form of a tasty treat to keep moving.

In the car, Kelso is a dream—relaxed and content, making him a great travel buddy. At home, he sleeps soundly either beside you on the couch or curled up in bed, always staying nearby through the night.

Though calm for his age, Kelso can get a bouncy when happy, but he’s easy to redirect and always eager to please. He’s met new people in the home with no issues and is generally quiet—though he may give a friendly bark in greeting.

Kelso’s gentle spirit, friendly nature, and adaptable personality make him a truly special dog. He’s ready to bring his big heart into a forever home that will love him right back.
