Lionel has been an absolute gem in his foster home, adapting easily to the household routine and always making himself a pleasant presence.

He’s calm and quiet indoors, only barking to let you know someone’s at the door. On walks, Lionel is enthusiastic and curious (and yes, he can pull a little on the leash), but he’s also just as content to lounge on the couch by your side. Snuggling is one of his favorite pastimes, and he’ll gently nudge you for attention — especially if ear rubs are involved.

Lionel is a smart boy who already knows his basics like sit, stay, and come, and he’ll head to the door when nature calls. He’s also a great travel buddy, riding well in the car.
