Hi, I’m Max!

I’m a 15-month-old black Lab with a happy heart, playful energy, and a whole lot of love to give. I’m a healthy, fun-loving boy who’s still growing and learning, and I’m looking for a family who will enjoy an active, joyful companion. 

I’ve completed basic obedience training and know all of my core commands. I’m very food-motivated and eager to please, which makes continued training a fun and rewarding experience for both of us.

I absolutely love people, adults and kids alike! I’m friendly, social, and always excited to say hello. Sometimes my enthusiasm gets the best of me and I may jump up when I’m excited, but I respond well to clear cues like “off” or “down” and continue to improve with consistency.

I’m just as excited to meet other dogs, greeting them with lots of happy energy and bounce. I’m an outdoor-loving guy who would thrive in an active home. Fetch is one of my favorite games, whether it’s in a field or in the water. I love swimming and retrieving! I also have a favorite duck toy that I enjoy playing hide-and-seek with. Activities like hiking, swimming, or any fun game of fetch would be right up my alley. 

I love a good car ride! I’ll be a great passenger for you, always ready for the next adventure. While I I do love to be playful, I also have a sweet, cuddly side and enjoy being close to my people. I’d love to settle in for some comfy movie nights.

I’m a happy, curious, affectionate boy, full of potential. With continued structure, exercise, and love, I’ll make an incredible lifelong companion and I can’t wait to meet my forever family.
