I’m a 5-year-old chocolate Lab with a love for toys, treats, and swimming — not necessarily in that order!

I’m settling into my foster home really well. One of my absolute favorite things to do is play fetch — and I’ve learned it’s even more fun when you have two toys to trade off. I could chase toys all day long!

There are many new things to experience in this world and I’m taking it all in stride. I even stayed calm when firetrucks showed up on our street — lights flashing, sirens blaring — I just sat with my people and took it all in like a champ.

Leash walking is still a bit of an adventure for me. There’s just so much to see and sniff! I’m very food motivated, though, so I’m eager to learn and improve with some guidance.

I’m sharing my foster home with a big female dog, and we’re getting along well. She’s very understanding while I learn to relax and enjoy having company — it’s nice to know there’s always enough space, toys, and attention to go around.

At night, I sleep on a cozy dog bed in my foster family’s room. I was welcome on the bed, but I preferred the floor — it’s cooler after a warm summer day. And speaking of staying cool… I love swimming! I went for a dip and had the best time splashing around.
