Chocolate Mousse is an absolutely gorgeous chocolate Lab with the classic good looks—and goofy charm—to win over any heart. At a year and a half old, he has the usual burst of youthful energy, but he also knows how to chill. Especially when it’s time for a car ride—Mousse loves hopping into the back seat, laying down peacefully, and feeling just a whisper of wind from a barely-cracked window.

While Mousse hasn’t been on a structured exercise routine yet, he’s eager to learn and eager to please. He’s still mastering leash walking and would thrive with a patient, encouraging family who can help guide him with positive reinforcement and time. He’d be an excellent candidate for a basic obedience or training class—something he’d love to do with his new people.

Mousse is a toy enthusiast! He has a few favorites, including a floppy alligator, a stuffed moose, and a unique football with a ball inside that he adores. He enjoys playing fetch (and is working on his return-and-drop game), and he’ll occasionally destroy stuffies—but only the select few he deems worthy.

He’s tried swimming and showed real interest—so if you’re a water-loving family, he may just be your new splash buddy.
