Meet Rocky & Max – A Bonded Pair of Country Gents Ready for Their Next Adventure
Introducing Rocky and Max – two gorgeous boys who’ve spent their lives side-by-side and are now looking for their next chapter together. Rocky, a handsome black Lab, is 8 years old and the more laid-back of the pair. Max, his younger white Lab mix brother, has a bit more pep in his step but still knows when it’s time to relax.
These two have been used to country living and truly thrive in open spaces, long trail walks, and fresh air. But don’t let their rural roots fool you — they’d happily transition into a suburban home, especially one with a yard and someone ready to show them the walking paths nearby.
Exercise & Energy:
Max loves a game of fetch and Rocky prefers a stroll and some good sniffing time. On leash, they may pull lightly at first, especially when exploring new sights and smells, but they settle in quickly. With patience and a little guidance, they’ll adapt beautifully to new routines.
Home Life:
Rocky and Max enjoy their meals like clockwork – breakfast and dinner around 6 AM and 6 PM. They’re great with other dogs they meet in the neighborhood and are always up for saying hello. They haven’t met cats, so we can’t speak to that. Both have grown up around young children, but at this stage of life, they’d likely be most comfortable with kids aged 10 and up.
Max is the social butterfly of the duo — always the first to greet visitors with respectful enthusiasm. Rocky, ever the gentleman, takes it all in stride with calm confidence. They’re not inseparable, just two dogs who enjoy each other’s company and bring out the best in one another.

Rocky: Low energy, independent, affectionate, relaxed, easygoing, loves his people and cuddles.
Max: Playful, higher energy (but appropriate for his age), attentive, loves being outside and part of the action.
They’re “turn off, turn on” dogs — ready to explore when you are, and equally content to chill out when the day winds down. Rocky loves a good nap in the car, while Max is curious and excited at first but settles in once the journey begins.
