Hi, I’m Tessa – your future best friend and professional cuddle bug!

I’m a 3-year-old Chocolate Lab with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. When I’m comfortable my tail barely stops wagging. Nee places make me shy at first but with a soft approach and a yummy treat, I warm up and start to shine bright.

I’m sweet as can be and just want to be near my people. I love giving kisses and leaning in for cuddles—being close makes me feel safe and happy. I’ve also been getting along really well with the resident dog, and I’m very curious about the cat… I don’t chase, I just find them super interesting.

I’ve been exploring more of the house every day. I haven’t totally figured out how I feel about all the stairs yet, but I’ve mastered the ones up to the front door like a champ and am taking the rest at my own pace. At night, I’m perfectly content snoozing on the couch—and give the best morning welcoming.

I enjoy going for walks and do pretty well on leash. Sometimes I get a little excited and pull, but I’m eager to learn and love treats—so training will be fun for both of us. I try really hard to understand what you’re asking of me, and even if I’m a bit confused at times, I’m all in with my heart.
