Sweet, laid back dude looking for love

 

Argus here!  I'm a 9-year-old yellow boy who's well behaved and pretty "low key".  I love all people, especially those who have a knack for good ear scratches! While I might look like a senior dude, I have no mobility issues and I can do stairs and hop in the car just fine!

 

I'm great in the house when alone, and if you are home, well I will just lie at your feet and be your office manager while you work from home! I sleep on my dog bed at night but I wouldn't turn down an invite to cuddle with my new family in the Big Bed.

 

Children are great and I even lived with a wee one. I love all the attention they give me, but hanging with the adults is fun too.  I'm a great guest at parties! I just soak up the attention all the people give me. And when those party goers get too loud, I will go off on my own and do my own thing for some quiet time.

 

I know some basic commands and I'm SUPER on leash, walking on a flat collar without much pulling.  I admit, I get excited when we pass another dog but I'm very manageable and settle back into stride. I'm happy to meet everyone all the time. I have this radar on me and I know right away who gives the best ear rubs!

 

As for other dogs, well I seem to love them all, big or small, male or female.  I play well with everyone but I'm not dependent on them.    Don't get me wrong, I've had doggy sleepovers and had a blast, so a home with another dog similar in energy to me would be okay but I'm also fine on my own. I'm more of a people first type of dog. Now, those other furry things called cats, I'm not sure about.  I've never lived with one.

 

My perfect family will provide lots of love and attention balanced with regular walks and mental stimulation.  Children or other dogs would be fine for the right fit but mainly I'm looking for a person to watch the sunset with and cuddle up next to at the end of the day.
