CALLING ALL JOGGERS AND AVID WALKERS
I'm Blunee. I know, cool name, right? I'm 2 years old and a black Lab, possibly a mix with and endless love of life. I'm coming to Lab Rescue because my family really wasn't ready for the commitment of a young dog.
I enjoy three good walks every day and play time in the yard to get the beans out and be chill in the house. The dog park is a great spot for me to run out my sillies and play with the big boys but I can be too bouncy for small dogs and I assume I'd be the same way with a cat if I met one. I love life so much that I can be too much for children.
I would benefit from a confident, experienced family who understands that mental stimulation and ongoing learning are just as important as physical exercise. I will need help on my leash skills, maybe with a no pull harness. I have this wee "quirk" where I don't like to share my bone or food with anyone. I try to be fair about it and give you warning signs that I'm uncomfortable which is your chance to show me respect and space until I'm finished. Other than that one little thing, I'm submissive and LOVE belly rubs.
I would love an outgoing, active family who has the patience and dedication to work on some training with me. I would like to be the only furkid in my new family where everyone is over 16 years old and there's a fenced yard. I know I can be an awesome addition to any family when given the proper amount of exercise and structure that I have been lacking. Preference will be given to highly skilled belly rubbers!
