Hi Friends,

My name is Brownie and I am 1 yr old. I will give you a guess at what colour I am based on my name...you got it CHOCOLATE! The last year has been really tough for me. I have been bounced around from house to house with nowhere to really call home. All I want is somewhere to call home for Christmas. I don't want to worry about one day waking up in another new home.

Medically, I am healthy.

See I like food a lot...so sometimes I guard it which doesn't make my owners very happy. I feel like I could be a really good dog with consistency and training. I mean you can take other things away from me such as tissues, clothing, toys with no problem. It's just food and bones I like to keep for just me.

I know commands such as sit, down, stay, shake a paw and no.

On leash, I do tend to pull so lots of walks where I can burn energy would be beneficial to me.

I have visited a few dog parks and really enjoy the company of other dogs. The odd dog I will mount but for the most part I am pretty good.

i have lived with cats and am totally fine with them.

In the house, I am pretty good although I have to admit I will counter surf if I see a delicious piece of meat on the counter. Why do humans have to tease dogs like that? Besides that I enjoy a good snuggle on the couch and really enjoy the company of people. I will be your best friend for a little pet.

Please stay tuned for more updates on me...

Love, Brownie.
