Hi Friends,
My name is Bryson and I am a young boy just 2 years old. I was surrendered to a shelter and the shelter knew exactly who to call...that is how I ended up with Lab Rescue. I am so thankful I did because my foster mom is really great! We have an awesome routine of walking 3-4 times daily at least 30 min per walk. I also have a big yard to run and play in and a super foster sibling too!
Medically, I am healthy.
I have to admit the first 24-48 hours were a bit stressful. I was anxious being in a new place so I did have an accident or two but my foster mom is happy to report no accidents since then. I am adjusting really well and everyday my foster mom is shocked at how much I am learning. At first I didn't really know what couches and beds were but I have to say I really love them now. One of my guilty pleasures is sneaking into the bathroom garbage to steal a toilet paper roll or two...I mean those and shoes are my favourite to seek out!
I really really like to go for this thing called "walkies". I could just go and go! I am strong on leash but my foster mom is teaching me that we don't have to pull to see another dog. I am not at all bothered by passing bikes or cars. I am a fearless boy to say the least.
I love fetch but I also love the game keep away when we are playing fetch especially with my foster sibling. I also love squeaky toys (A LOT) the squeaker the better for me. Just think of the most annoying squeaky toys you could possibly think of and that`s my favourite. Kong``s I really enjoy too especially if they have a fun snack in them.
I enjoy going on adventures in the car too. My foster mom says I pass out with not a care in the world.
I am really enjoying learning how to be a dog. I am being taught some wonderful commands, and how to be polite but will require a very loving but strong handler to continue my path to success.
Stay tuned!
Love, Bryson
