Hi Friends,
My name is CHEVET (I know pretty cool name right). I am 4 yrs old and coming to Lab Rescue because my owner is sick and can no longer care for me. I am told that dogs are very good at sensing when their humans are not feeling well.
Medically, I am a healthy girl.
In the house I am a good girl. I am a total snuggle bug and will follow you wherever you go. My favourite thing to do is cuddle on your feet when I want a pat. I have full access and do not get into anything I shouldn't. My previous owners let me snuggle up on the couch and bed at bedtime and I seem to really enjoy that. I am not much of a barker in the house but will alert if I hear something unfamiliar.
I am an active girl and really enjoy going for walks. I am pretty good on leash and can walk and walk. I love all kinds of adventures and am looking forward to getting to swim as I love the water and also enjoy all types of toys.
With little furry friends...what are they called again? oh ya cats! well I really like to bug and chase them so I would probably prefer a home with a kitty friend.
I have grown up playing with other dogs so I really enjoy their company. I am a bigger fan of larger breed dogs and love to play. On a walk I may bark when I see another pup but once we meet I am totally fine and playful.
Believe it or not I pick at my food...I know, I know most labbies devour their food within seconds. I guess I like to savour it a little more and eat a little bit at a time.
Overall, I am sweet and loyal to my humans, and am excited at the opportunity to be a loving companion to another family.
