Hi Friends,

My name is Scooby just like the TV show Scooby Doo! I am just like him too fun, bouncy, lovable and ever so handsome.

I am coming to Lab Rescue by no fault of my own. I am told one of my family members is allergic to me. So I had to stay outside most of the time.

In the house I am told that I am such a gentleman. I am quiet and respectful and love to follow my people around. My foster mom says I have a goofy, happy facial expression that makes her laugh. I do not jump on furniture, or counter surf. When I have to go potty I sit by the front door patiently. I have the run of the house and even have a foster sibling who is showing me the ropes. At night I sleep on the floor beside my foster parents bed and my own bed. I am not used to the luxury of sleeping on a doggy bed yet so I am getting used to the idea.

I am 9 but at heart I am 6. I have loads of energy and am told I am in great shape (I'm not bragging my foster mom told me that). I love to fetch and swim. My favourite thing is carrying around a ball in my mouth! I am friendly to everyone I meet...dogs, kids or adults...I haven't met a cat yet but I'm sure I would be okay. I am super gentle at taking treats.

On leash, I do pull at first but with more exercise I am learning how to be more respectful. I settle after a bit of exercise.

In the car I am a good boy I either lay down or stick my head out the window. I love the wind going through my beautiful chocolate fur! It is the best!

I am supposed to be afraid of afraid of thunder & fireworks. But so far I have been in foster care with three big ones and seem fine.

Do I sound like I would suit your family?
