My name is Jackson and and I am approximately 1-2 yrs old. I have some sad news to share. I was found running along a highway when the humane society picked me up and called Lab Rescue to help.
I am a friendly boy who loves to be loved. My fosters say I am like curious George and I am super playful. Considering how my life started out I am extremely gentle and eager to please. I do get a bit anxious when I see you getting ready to leave the house and will pace but I am not at all destructive and I am learning that my foster parents always come back for me.
In the house, I am well behaved. I have a foster sister who has been showing me the ropes of what its like to be a dog and have good manners. I love my toys and especially bones...I will do this thing where I will hide it and come back to it later. I have no issues with sharing. You are able to take my bowl or bones away with no issues.
Since being with my foster mom and dad I have learned how to sit, lay down and come.
I am new to the leash but I am learning quick. I do pull at first but am learning to settle. I do get super excited to see another dog so I would probably be great in a home with another fur sibling to wrestle around with.
In the car, I am fabulous I will look out the window and watch the world go by.
I am a bit of a picker at my food (I know so odd for a lab)...so I would benefit from you leaving the bowl out.
Anyway that's all for now but I will have more updates soon.
