Committee Update: Upon review of the two boys that were surrendered into our care we have noted the following.
After careful consideration and a detailed evaluation, we believe the two Labs would thrive in separate households.
As such Troy and Duce will be adopted independent of each other.

Hi everyone, my name is Troy and I'm 10 1/2 years old and a svelte senior sweetie.
I came into Lab Rescue’s care after my owner fell too ill to care for me. I was living in a situation that was not great over the last year which meant I was primarily hanging outdoors.
My great foster family is working really hard to help me transition into life indoors and it's fabulous. I'm using bells to let my foster family know when I need to go outside to relieve myself. I hope to find a family that continues with my training as I've been very eager to learn about life in a nice and warm cozy household.
Over the years I've spent lots of time outside doing field trial training and I have to say was quite good at it. I didn't walk on leash much but am learning to to walk well with this really neat harness.
My foster family is great and gives me lots of attention and cuddle time. We lounge together on the couch while watching TV and sleep nice and close in bed. Boy has my life changed!
Some things I like to do are go for car rides, take long walks to the lake and playing fetch.
I'm so looking forward to finding a family that will help me be the best dog I can be, and in return you will get lots of love and licks.
Do I sound like the right boy for you?
