Hi Friends,
My name is Gracie and I am what Lab Rescue calls a super senior. I am coming to Lab Rescue because my owner is terminally ill and can no longer care for me. I am an extremely sweet, loving girl who is super laid back and looking for somewhere to lay my head.
Because I am a super senior I do need a little extra TLC when it comes to my healthcare. I occasionally have something called tendinitis so sometimes I get flare ups but with proper rest and pain medication I do pretty well. Since being with my foster Mom my leg has improved so much and I am enjoying much longer walks with no mobility issues at all. I also take medicine once a week for incontinence issues and since being on it I have had no issues.
I have tons of experience with children and am great with them. I have no exposure to cats and minimal experience with dogs and prefer to be with people much more.
In the house, I am pretty awesome. I am laid back and spend most of my day cuddled up on my super comfy dog bed. Because of my tendinitis I no longer do stairs so a house with minimal stairs would be best for me. I love all people, and am your typical lab that craves love and affection.
Do you have room in your heart for a senior?
Love, Gracie
