Hi everyone We are Hailey and Bear and consider ourselves a bonded pair.  We have some sad news to share, our owner passed away and we have no family member healthy enough to keep us.

Medically we are in good shape. a few fatty lumps but hear that happens when you are a senior, doesn't it?

In the house, we are wonderful, we love to be a part of the action but love lounging around with our foster parents.

We have lived with a cat and she was kind of mean so we stayed away from her.

People call us PEOPLE pleasers, we so enjoy hanging close with our family and lots of cuddles.  We are wonderful in the car, polite in the home, and good with everyone we meet.

These days we are not walked much but we are just happy to have a home to rest our head.  We are fine off leash and never wander too far away.

It makes us very sad that no one has asked to take us home. We are such, fun loving sweethearts, eager to please, and well mannered. If you take a chance on us you will not be disappointed.

RECENT FOSTER UPDATE!

These 2 continue to amaze us. They are the most well behaved dogs we have ever met. This morning we sat on the cool deck together and as I enjoyed my coffee I watched these two kiss each other and lay with their heads together. They are too sweet! Did you see the pics I messaged through face book? This weekend we will send a video of them walking together and we will take some more photos. They are so lovely and so cute, it's just an extra challenge with black dogs to capture the sweetness in their eyes. This morning Bear "trotted" on his walk, I didn't think Cartrophen would take effect that quickly but there was definitely an extra bounce in his step today!

MORE FOSTER UPDATES:

We met this lady called a foster Grandma a few weeks back and she told us she has a pool that dogs can go in, she also has 2 dogs so we thought this might be a good place to go visit for a day and teach our foster mom how we deal both pools and other dogs.

Our foster mom is such a worry wart! She had all these special rules about meeting on the front lawn first and being very careful. Blah Blah Blah foster mom, we are great with other dogs. We met Roxy and jack russel and Diamond a huge black lab and although we barked like crazy on the leash, once we went in the backyard everything was great. Roxy is a tug of War Diva and never gives up so she gave Bear a run for his money. The foster mom freaked out of course but after a bit we taught her it just "sounded" like we would kill each other playing tug of war. Through out the day even Hailey got in and there was a 3 way tug of war. Roxy won every time!

We don't jump in the pool like crazy Roxy and we didn't understand stairs too good. But we both feel in and through guiding from foster parents, we swam to the stairs no problem. The rest of the day it took a gentle push and we went in. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. We played straight for 4 1/2 hours!!!
