My name is XENA that's right....like the warrior princess. Well I used to be the GREAT warrior princess, I'm retired now (I am 11 you know). I am coming to Lab Rescue because my families lives have become so hectic that they don't have time for me anymore. They work 12 hour shifts and it is much too long for me to wait alone.
My humans describe me as a super easy going, fun loving, and happy. I get along with all people big or small, dogs too! I am unsure about cats as I have never been around one before.
Medically, well I am a healthy girl but I do have this thing called 'Diabetes'. I was diagnosed about 4 years ago but not to worry I take Insulin twice daily right after meals which keeps it in check.
In the house, I am well behaved. I do not get into anything that I shouldn't. I can be left alone no problem, and am not an excessive barker. I guess you could call me an angel around the house. I will let you know if I have to go out to the bathroom by waiting at the door. I love my doggy bed so I spend lots of time there as well. At bedtime I like to sleep on my dog bed right beside your bed.
I can do a whole bunch of impressive commands too. I can sit, come, move, lay down, paw, stop, and stay. Not bad for an old gal hehe. On leash, I pull for a few minutes than settle.
Do I sound like I could be a match for your family?
