Onyx

Hi there!

 

I’m Onyx! I’m an 11 year old sweet senior who is a real gem in the house.    I’m a calm, quiet boy in the house but Mr. Social when it comes to meeting new people  I love everyone I meet!

I like a couple of good strolls in my day to pick up all the neighbourhood gossip. Followed by a nice nap my doggy bed.  I love swimming and with summer on the way I already picking out my new swim trunks!

With age comes wisdom! I know many commands such as sit, down, eat, go pee, come here, give paw, where is your leash and treat.

True to my Lab breed, I have a great appetite and I’m happy to learn anything for a treat. Yes, even as a senior, us dogs can learn new things, we just need the right motivation.

I grew up with a toddler and was great with them but as a big boy I can accidentally knock over the little ones.  I have met a cat and after a game of chase, I settling in with it.

I enjoy car rides and like to see what’s happening on both sides of the car before I sit down and enjoy the ride.
