Are you looking for a buddy to watch the game with or take for a stroll on the trails? I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’m an expert snuggler and sniffer! When I’m out for a walk my happy tail doesn’t stop, and I always check in with my human friends to make sure they aren’t too far away. These days, when I’m curled up for a cuddle with my fosters, I dream about having a forever family of my very own who will take the time to help me feel safe and let my confidence grow.

I’m pretty hard to resist when you first meet me because I’ll shower you in kisses and I’m told my ears are just the softest if you’re up for an ear scratch! (Ooo, that always feels so good to me!!) A consistent routine and the chance to show you how good of a boy I can be is all I ask to help us build the best bond. Guess what? My fosters say I’m the best boy in the house when they need to do their human things and go to work (nap time for me!!), I don’t worry too much about that because I know they’ll come back as soon as they can to play with me again. I admit I’m still trying to figure out the games with balls, but am working on my goal-keeping and fetching skills and realized that playing in water is tonnes of fun too! I wonder what else is out there for me to learn about?

I’m pretty mellow on my walks, don’t really feel the need to pull that leash-thing and won’t ignore other dogs on purpose if I see them, but am really more of a people-dog. I’m so happy to say hello to anyone who anyone who has a minute. Those squirrels are kind of interesting sometimes, but if you remind me to leave them alone, I just carry on my way. I also really like to show people the human words I know, especially if you have a treat or will give my chin a scratch! Now that I’m almost three years old, I know I’m ready to learn even more words and show you how smart I am. I just love to make people proud of me!

I think a mature household with no other furkids would suit me best. Could you be the one to make my wish come true for people who will love me for me and laugh and learn with me while I explore this great big world?
