Adorable and affectionate dude, looking for love!

 

Hi Everybody!

 

I’m Joey and I'm 3 years old. Thanks to the doggie docs and Lab Rescue, I am well on the road to recovery from my knee surgery and feeling fantastic! I can't wait to take on the world with my new family.

 

I’m loving the spring weather, feeling that lush grass on my belly and enjoying nature and watching what all those birds and squirrels are up to. I love hanging out in the yard (a fenced one of course!) and sunbathing, or watching the sunset with my peeps!  

 

I am a delightful, well-behaved boy in the house. I enjoy munching on one of my dog bones and playing with my stuffy toys. I’ve recently mastered this cool thing called a snuffle mat, and I love it, taps into my inner intelligence! Don’t be fooled though, I'm always ready for a Netflix binge while we cuddle on the couch, and I will even let you pick the movie! 

 

I must admit I do have a few love handles.  The good news is my Weight Watchers program is going great, I can see my waistline now! And the further I get into my rehab my exercise will increase and I will be able to burn off even more!

 

And I will never say no to a car ride! Not sure if it’s the fresh air through the open window or just being with you that I enjoy the most! I don’t care where we go, let’s just put our playlist on, open the windows and hit the open road!!

 

While I don’t have a lot of experience with kids, I think I would really like them, especially those that are a bit older and dog-savvy. I’m just a big love bug, who has so much to give. I can't wait to get back to doing all the things I love, but I need a family by my side for this journey. Let's meet!
