Hi, I’m Archer!

I’m a young, happy black Lab with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I have a gentle nature mixed with an enthusiastic, playful spirit, and I love showing my people how much I care by leaning in for hugs and cuddles. Being close to my family is one of my favourite things, and I thrive on connection and companionship.I’m a social guy who enjoys meeting new people and exploring new places. I live an active lifestyle and feel my best when I get plenty of physical and mental exercise. 

I’m used to a consistent routine with multiple daily walks, and I love fun outings to parks, beaches, or anywhere I can sniff and explore. Fetch is my absolute favourite game, but I also love running, zooming around, and playing chase with my dog friends.I really enjoy the company of other dogs, both big and small, and I’m happy to share my toys. I’m great at adjusting my play style and will lower myself, play bow, or crawl to help smaller or more hesitant dogs feel comfortable. 

I have not lived with another dog before, but I may be a good match for the right canine companion.I’ve also lived successfully with cats and have been very gentle and respectful with them. I have even been known to relax while a cat rubs up against me.At home, I’m affectionate, engaging, and house-trained. I’m also a smart boy with a solid training foundation. 

I know cues like sit, stay, and come, and I respond to both verbal and hand signals. I’m eager to learn and would love continued training, especially with leash skills since I can be strong when I get excited.I’m also great in the car. I hop right in and enjoy watching the world go by.Overall, I’m a joyful, affectionate, and intelligent companion looking for a home that can give me structure, exercise, continued guidance, and lots of love. In return, I offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a fun-loving spirit that will brighten every day.
