Hi everyone, I'm Astro! ⭐

Some might say my name is out of this world and I'd like to think my heart is pretty astronomical too! I'm a sweet, affectionate black Lab with a whole universe of love just waiting to share with my forever family.

Want to know a little more about me? Well, I'll tell ya!

First off, I think I might just win the award for most adorable boy... don't you agree? I've got a gorgeous, shiny black coat, the softest brown eyes, and a tail that never seems to stop wagging. My tail has a mind of its own whenever I'm around people because I just love being with them.

I'm happiest when I'm close to my humans. Whether we're heading out for a drive (I'm a fantastic passenger!), relaxing at home, or out on an adventure, I just want to be by your side. Every now and then I'll even pop my head up in the car just to check in and see how you're doing. I also happen to be a superstar at the vet because, as far as I'm concerned, all that extra attention is the best part!

My foster says I'm a gentle, happy, and polite boy who's always ready for affection. I love soaking up pets, snuggling close, and being included in whatever my people are doing. In fact, I've earned the nickname of being my foster's little shadow because I'm never too far away.

I love getting outside for walks and exploring the world with my foster.  Sometimes I get excited by an interesting smell or something I'd like to check out, so I'll benefit from a family who can continue helping me strengthen my leash skills and redirect me when needed. One of my favorite parts of a walk is saying hello to new people - I think everyone could use a wagging tail and a friendly smile!

At home, I have wonderful house manners and settle nicely into a routine. I greet visitors with a wagging tail, good manners, and plenty of love. When it's time to play, you might find me carrying around my new favorite little fox stuffy. I'm eager to please, treat motivated, and always take my treats gently like the gentleman I am.

When the day is done, there's nowhere I'd rather be than snuggled up beside my people. Sleeping close to my fosters is a favourite for me! I just can't wait to share all the love I have with a forever family to call my own.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's ready for adventures, walks, playtime, cozy nights on the couch, and a lifetime of unconditional love, I think our futures might just be written in the stars.
