Meet Baby!

Hi everyone, my name is Baby! I’m 9 years young and I have plenty of pep in my step, a curious spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. I’m a petite girl with a sweet heart and a gentle personality, but I’m always ready for a little adventure. Whether it’s heading out for a walk, investigating an interesting smell, exploring somewhere new, or spending quality time with my people, I’m happiest when I’m included.

I’m a girl who knows how to enjoy the best parts of life. I love getting outside and taking my time on walks, stopping to investigate all the interesting scents along the way. And I have a pretty adorable little habit when I find a really good one, too. I make the funniest little snuffling sound while I’m checking it out! My foster family jokes that I sound just like a little piggy, and apparently my tiny snorts make everyone laugh. I also make my little piggy noises when I’m working away on my snuffle mat, so I guess I just really like putting my nose to work!

And if there’s water around, I’m definitely interested. I love checking out ponds and lakes, dipping my paws in, and I may even go for a little swim if I’m feeling adventurous. A nice walk followed by some water exploration and a special treat like a pup cup to end the adventure with sounds like a pretty perfect day to me.

I really love my people too. I enjoy meeting new friends and saying hello on my walks. I’m a sweet girl who loves being close to my humans and I’m always happy to soak up some attention. If you happen to have time for a good belly rub, I will be very happy to accept it! And when I’m all tuckered out, I’m just as content finding a quiet, cozy spot where I can relax.

I have some very expressive eyes that tend to give away exactly how I’m feeling, and when the sunlight hits my gorgeous coat just right, I think I look pretty beautiful! I have a gentle way about me, and I love those simple moments spent with my people.

I’m also a smart girl who remembers the little things. I know how to sit, and I’m very food motivated, especially when liver treats are involved! I do well around other dogs and I’m a great passenger in the car. I’m always happy to hop in and see where we’re going next and check in with you by poking my head to the front seat to give you a kiss.

I’m looking for a family who will appreciate all the little things that make me Baby. Someone who will take me on leisurely walks where I can stop and sniff to my heart’s content, let me investigate the water when we come across it, give me plenty of belly rubs, and appreciate my funny little piggy snorts.

I’m ready to soak up my golden years with a loving family I can call my own. I have so much love, curiosity, and joy to share, and I can’t wait find my forever family that would love nothing more than to have a sweet, petite girl like me by their side.
