Hi friends, I’m Boseman!

I’m a 5-year-old handsome boy with a wonderful smile and a loyal set of eyes that shine as bright as my personality. I’m affectionate, playful, curious, and always happy to be included in whatever is going on. I love spending time with my people and being part of the day, whether we’re heading out for a walk, playing with my favourite toys, going for a car ride, or simply hanging out together.

I’m definitely a boy who knows how to enjoy the moment. If there’s an adventure happening, I want to be part of it! I love my walks and getting out to explore, and I’m always interested in checking out new places. I’ve even been to the beach before and went into the water to investigate. I didn’t quite become a swimming champion, but I thought it was pretty fun to check out!

Once we’ve had our fun, I’m also very good at settling in for some quality relaxation. I love having time to be pampered, getting some attention, stretching out somewhere comfortable, and snoozing away. I think there’s something pretty wonderful about having a fun day and then getting to wind down with your favourite people.

I have a playful side that definitely comes out when my toys are involved. My three-ring rubber toy is one of my favourites, and I love a good game of tug-of-war. I also love fetch, although I have my own interpretation of the rules. You throw the ball, I go get it… and then I keep it! Honestly, I think that makes the game more interesting and I like making people laugh.

And if you happen to have treats nearby, you’ve definitely caught my attention. I am treat motivated and love working for snacks, which makes learning new things lots of fun. I already know sit, jump, shake, high five, and stay. I’m always happy to keep learning, especially when we can turn it into a fun game or enrichment activity.

I’m also a good little adventurer when it comes to car rides. I happily hop in and settle well. Whether we’re heading somewhere exciting or just going along for the ride, I’m happy to come along!

I’m very gentle too. I’ve spent time around kids, including a toddler, and I’ve done well around other dogs. I’m generally pretty indifferent to them and am happy to coexist, although I’ll admit that I’m usually more interested in what the people are doing!

I think what makes me special is that I’m a little bit of everything. I can be your walking buddy, your adventure companion, your playmate, your treat enthusiast, and your professional lounging partner all in one. I don’t need every day to look the same I just want to enjoy whatever we’re doing together.
