Hi Friends, I’m Bruce!

I’m a handsome 6-year-old boy weighing about 72 pounds, and I’ve been settling beautifully into foster life. I’m a happy, easygoing guy with a gentle nature, and my absolute favourite thing in the world is being close to my people. Wherever you are, you can bet I’ll be nearby - whether supervising in the kitchen  or curling up beside you while you work!

Lately, I’ve discovered something pretty amazing… the couch! I wasn’t sure about it at first, but now I’ve been taking full advantage and you’ll often find me curled up there having a cozy snooze. I still love relaxing close to my people, and I’m just as happy settling quietly while you go about your day.

I’m a big fan of walks and love getting out to explore. I head out for a nice long walk in the morning, afternoon, and a quick stroll before bed.

I’m polite on leash and easy to walk. I do like to zig-zag a little while I take in all the interesting smells!

At home, I’ve got great manners and an easy rhythm. I sleep soundly through the night after my evening walk and am happy to match your schedule in the morning, ready to start the day when you are, but just as content to settle back down if you need a little more rest.

I’m working on my basic commands too - I’ve got “sit” down, and I’m learning more every day. I’m eager to please and love a tasty liver treat as a reward.

I’m very people-focused and love attention. I’ll happily greet guests and soak up all the pets I can get. Sometimes I’ll gently paw or even place my head right into your hand to remind you I’m there, I just really love affection. I’ve got a sweet, goofy side too, and you might hear my tail thumping into things when I’m excited to see you!

Overall, I’m a cuddly, loyal companion who is always up for a walk or some attention, but I’m just as happy relaxing quietly by your side. I can’t wait to meet my forever people to continue to bring out my confidence.
