Hi friends,

my name is Coal! I’m a sweet, goody boy who is ready to make you smile and become your loyal loving, companion.

I’m a smart boy who really thrives with structure and guidance. I’ve got great recall, I’m happy to wait for direction and always ready to join you on your next adventure. I love staying in tune with my people and know lots of commands like sit, stay, come, down, pick it up, and drop it.

At home, I’m calm, easygoing, and happiest when I’m close to you. I love to greet people with a happy wag. You’ll often find me lying at your feet, curled up beside you on the couch, or following along just to keep you company. Being near my people is my favorite place to be.

I do have a fun and playful side too. I love playing fetch and enjoy my toys, especially my stuffies. One of my favorite routines is in the evening when I go to my toy bin, pick out a toy, and bring it over for a treat. I’ll keep going back and forth, sometimes bringing a whole pile, it always gets people laughing and shows off my silly personality.

I love getting outside for walks and playtime. I walk very well on leash and enjoy greeting dogs as a trot along, especially getting excited when I see a familiar friend! One of my favourite things is enjoying sticks to chew on in the grass or running around with them. That’s sure to make me one happy boy! I’m also great in the car, settling in after a few minutes.
