Hi friends, 

I’m Effie, a 5-month-old black Lab mix and I’m a bright, happy puppy who wakes up every day ready to take on the world! I’m playful, social, and always excited to be part of whatever my people are doing. I love connection, attention, and feeling like I’m included in the action.

I’m still learning all the basics of being a well-mannered young dog, and everything is new and interesting to me. I’m working on leash skills, focus, and understanding household routines, and I’m trying my best to figure it all out. I really enjoy learning, especially when there are treats, praise, and encouragement involved, it makes everything feel like a fun game.

I would thrive in a home that gives me structure, patience, and lots of opportunities for enrichment. I love having things to do that keep both my mind and body engaged like sniffing activities, food puzzles, training games, and interactive play are all things that help me shine.

I also really enjoy being outdoors. Fresh air, space to move, and time to explore make me very happy. I like to take everything in whether it’s  sounds, smells, movement and I bring a lot of enthusiasm. After I’ve had my fun, I also enjoy winding down and relaxing close to my people.

I’m a sweet, joyful girl ready to take on new adventures.
