🐾 Hi, I’m George!

I’m a gentle, sweet, and curious 4-year-old, petite, Black Lab mix who loves people, treats, and discovering the world around me. I’m a calm, low-key boy, the kind that makes you feel the loyal love I have to give. I’m affectionate and cuddly, and I love leaning on you for snuggles or sharing a kiss on the cheek when I’m close.

I have a playful side too! I love chasing squeaky toys, carrying them around proudly, and even trotting along with them in my mouth. I also enjoy fetch if you throw the toy for me, and I’ve recently discovered that pup cups are a total favourite — they always put a smile on my face.

I already know sit and lay down, and I’m working on learning “shake a paw.” I take treats gently, I’m eager to please, and I do best with calm encouragement. I’m good on leash, too and with a little guidance and direction I’ll be a pro in no time.

I’m curious about other dogs and cats. I was politely curious encountering another dog and a cat at the vet. I’d love to make friends with other experienced canine friends once I get settled with my new family.

I also enjoy quiet moment like car rides where I can look out the window and take in everything around me, or evenings resting beside you after an adventure-filled day. I’d thrive in a home that gives me gentle guidance, patience, lots of love, and enrichment activities like puzzle toys, snuffle mats, frozen Kongs, or training games. Oh, and don’t forget the treats!!

I’m ready to find my forever family, someone who will help me enjoy life to the fullest. I’m the perfect companion for adventures, cozy nights in, cuddles on the couch, and all the love you can give.
