Hi, I'm Gillian!

I’m a 4.5 years old and if you're looking for a loving companion who wants to be part of everything you do, I might just be your girl. My favorite place is wherever my people are, whether that's relaxing at home, heading out for an adventure, or piling into the car for a ride. I love being included in daily life and am happiest when I can spend time with the people I care about.

I'm an affectionate, social dog who enjoys making friends and soaking up attention. I love cuddles, leaning into my people, and finding ways to stay close. When visitors come by, I'm usually excited to greet them and then happily settle in once I've said hello. I have a sweet, gentle nature and form strong bonds with the people in my life.

One of the things that makes me special is how much joy I find in the little things. Whether it's carrying around my favorite yellow duck toy, rubbing up against my people for extra affection, stretching out nearby while they work, or hopping into the car for an adventure, I'm happiest when I'm sharing life's everyday moments with the people I love.

I enjoy getting out and exploring the world. Walks, parks, trails, and outdoor adventures are some of my favorite things. If there's water nearby, even better - I absolutely love swimming! I'm curious about my surroundings and enjoy taking in all the sights and smells along the way. When I'm not out exploring, you'll often find me relaxing close to my people or keeping an eye on whatever is happening around me.

I'm a smart girl who already knows several basic cues and enjoys learning, especially when treats are involved. Yogurt, veggies, rice, and other tasty snacks are great motivators for me. I enjoy working with my people and thrive when I have guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to use my brain.

My ideal home is one where I can be a true member of the family. I'd love people who enjoy spending time together, sharing adventures, and including me in their everyday lives. Patience and understanding people that will help me continue to blossom into the wonderful girl I am. In return, I'll offer plenty of affection, companionship, loyalty, and love.
