Hi everyone, I'm Joe!

I'm an 8.5-year-old gentleman with a heart full of love, a calm and easygoing nature, and a face that seems to make people smile wherever I go. I settle into routine beautifully and my foster says I continue to show off just how sweet and charming I am - and honestly, I can't argue with that!

One of my favorite things in the whole world is being close to my people. If you're sitting on the couch, don't be surprised if I come over to lean against you for some pets. If you're heading to bed, I'd be more than happy to snuggle in beside you. Quality time is my love language, and I believe there's no such thing as too much affection.

Speaking of affection... have I mentioned how much I love belly rubs? Because I  love them. In fact, if I think there's a chance I might earn a few extra scratches, you'll often catch me wiggling around, showing off my charming personality, and making sure everyone notices just how adorable I am.

I'm also known for my very polite treat manners. When I see a treat coming my way, I'll happily show off my sit and then take a few careful gentlemanly steps backward before lowering myself down with a dramatic little "beep, beep, beep" plop onto the floor. It's become one of my signature moves, and it never fails to make people laugh.

My foster family describes me as calm, gentle, and incredibly easy to have around. After breakfast, you'll often find me stretched out for a cozy nap, recharging before the next adventure. I enjoy my walks and have lovely leash manners. When I see other dogs, I'm curious but happy to continue on my way, taking everything in stride just like the gentleman I am.

Car rides? No problem. I'll hop right in and settle down for the journey. Vet visits? Easy peasy. My calm personality helps me take new experiences in stride, and I'm proving every day that I'm the kind of dog who brings a peaceful, comforting presence wherever I go.

I'm looking for a family to share quiet mornings, cozy evenings, leisurely walks, sunny spots for naps, and plenty of love. I'm also perfect content for adventures and trying fun new things. In return, I'll give you unwavering companionship, endless affection, and enough sweet Joe charm to brighten even the toughest days.
