Meet Kylo

Kylo is a handsome boy looking for a laid-back family who enjoys getting out for walks and hikes, then settling in for a cozy movie night on the couch. And who knows — he may even discover he likes swimming!

He knows his basic commands, is always happy to greet people, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. Kylo shares his food and toys easily and just wants to feel included.

Kylo would benefit from a little refresher on his leash skills, and he’d love the chance to join a training class with his new family. He’s eager to please, highly food motivated, and will thrive with positive reinforcement, exercise, and structure.

He’s friendly with other dogs, though his excitement sometimes comes across as a “chatty” greeting. Once introductions are done, he settles nicely. With guidance and consistent exercise, Kylo will continue to build his confidence in making new friends. He also enjoys time in the yard and a good game of chase, though fetching a ball isn’t really his style. What he truly loves are enrichment activities and mentally stimulating games.

Kylo rides well in the car with a window cracked open and would be thrilled to tag along on outings and adventures. He’s used to having people around most of the time, but he’s fine on his own for short periods too. While he hasn’t been allowed on the furniture in his current home, he would absolutely love the chance to snuggle up next to you.

Kylo is looking for an active family who also enjoys quiet downtime. His perfect match will be patient, willing to invest in training and enrichment, and ready to give him the love and guidance he deserves.
