Hi, I’m Lady, and I’m a sweet, affectionate Black Lab who loves being close to my people. I’m loyal, playful, and full of love, and I enjoy being part of everyday life with my family. I do thrive with a nice routine of daily activity, fun adventures, and plenty of time to relax and cuddle afterward.

I love getting outside to run, explore secure spaces, go for walks, and sniff all the interesting smells. Car rides are one of my favourite things, especially when they lead to time spent with the people I love. When I’m indoors, I’m happy to lounge nearby, chew on my toys, or curl up for a cozy nap. I’m very food motivated and always excited to earn a special treat.

Right now, I’m living with a senior male Labrador, and we have a great time playing in the yard and exploring together. I’ve spent time with other dogs too and really enjoy having canine friends and playdates whenever I can.

I have lovely house manners and make a wonderful housemate. I like to be involved in what you’re doing during the day, and at night I settle in quietly and sleep soundly in my comfy spot. I know some basic cues like sit, lay down, and look at me, and I walk nicely on leash.

I would love a home that can give me consistent daily exercise, structure, mental stimulation, and lots of affection. I’ve spent time with kids over eight years old and I’m gentle and happy soaking up their attention. I’ve also met a cat and was politely curious, so with patient introductions, I may be able to share a home with one.
