Hi everyone, my name is Lola but my foster family likes to call me Lola the Showgirl! 🎶

With my beautiful golden-red coat, pretty smile, and big sweet eyes, I think I was born to be the spotlight in your life.

I'm a 6-year-old Golden Retriever with a gentle nature and lots of love to give. I enjoy being close to my people and I've got a happy pep in my step. I'm also a great passenger in the car, so if you're looking for a girl to join you on your adventures, I'm happy to hop along!

I love spending time outside. You'll often find me soaking up the sunshine, relaxing in the shade, or enjoying the fresh fall breeze. I love my walks, too! I patiently wait for my harness to go on because I know that means it's time to get out there and see what the world has to offer.

I'm also a fan of toys, specifically balls! I can happily entertain myself with one both inside and outside. Of course, I also love treats, which is great because I'm a smart girl who enjoys learning new things. I respond well to my name, know come, and am working on sit, down, and place.

I'm also good at taking cues from my fellow canine friend. My foster's dog and I are happily enjoying each other's company and I'm very respectful of him. I've also seen a few other dogs through the backyard fence and have been interested in going over to say hello to make new friends!

My foster says I'm a quick learner, full of personality, and the kind of girl who's going to take on the world and continue to shine. I'm curious, affectionate, and always happy to see what's around the corner. Whether we're heading out for a walk, enjoying some fresh air, practising my skills, or simply relaxing together at home, I'm ready to make the most of it. Oh and couch cuddles? Yes please!

I'm hoping to find people who will include me in their daily lives, help me continue to grow in confidence, give me plenty of affection, and keep encouraging me to learn and explore. A family that is ready for the sweet quiet moments together, along with adventure.
