Hi friends, I’m Mochi, a sweet yellow girl with a soft coat, a loving heart, and plenty of affection to share! I’m a happy, affectionate girl who loves spending time with my people and being part of whatever is happening around the house. Whether we’re heading out for a walk, playing in the backyard, or relaxing together at home, I’m happiest when I get to be part of the fun.

I love getting out for walks and I’m a good on leash. Sometimes when I realize we’re heading home, I get a little excited and may pull because I know exactly where we’re going. I’m pretty clever and have learned the familiar routes around me, so I like to show off my excellent navigation skills and let you know, “Yep, I know the way home!” I also love running around the backyard, playing fetch, and enjoying time with my toys. Give me a good bone to chew on and I’ll happily settle in for some relaxing time too.

And speaking of being a smart cookie, I have lots of good manners! I know commands like sit, stay, down, spin, paw, leave it, and off.  I’m also treat motivated, so a tasty biscuit is always a great way to keep me interested. I even learned to ring a bell at the front door when I need to go potty, something I mastered when I was a puppy. I’d say that makes me a pretty clever girl!

When I’m not out exploring or playing, I’m just as happy relaxing with my people. I love curling up on the couch for a good snooze or snuggling up beside you in bed. I have good house manners, and when my people head out for errands, you’ll usually find me snoozing on the couch or resting by the door for your return.

I’m a good girl in the car too! After a few minutes I settled in and you'll find me resting on the seat or sitting to watch the world go by through the window. I haven’t had the chance to try swimming yet, but maybe that’s another adventure waiting for me. With some encouragement, I might just discover that I’m a water girl too.

My perfect day starts with waking up alongside my people, enjoying breakfast, and heading out for a walk. After that, I’m happy to fill my day with whatever comes next, whether that’s another walk, spending time with my people, lounging on the couch, playing fetch in the backyard, or settling in with a good bone. Then it’s dinner, another walk, and some cozy time to wind down.

I’m ready to find a loving and patient family who will continue to encourage me and let my sweet personality shine. I've got lots of love and affection to give, and I’m hoping my forever family is out there ready to share plenty of walks, cuddles, playtime, and everyday adventures with me - I’m pretty ready to be your new best girl!
