Hi there! I’m Rip, a playful, affectionate, and energetic young Lab who loves people, toys, and being part of the fun. Despite being a big pup with an even bigger heart, I’m convinced I’m a lap dog, and I love cuddling with my people whenever I can.

I love staying active and thrive on daily walks, indoor games of fetch, and plenty of playtime. Squeaky toys are my absolute favourite, and I’m always ready for fun, whether it’s a game, a walk, or just spending quality time with my family.

I know sit, stay, and lay down, and I’m told I walk nicely on leash, though I’m sure there’s always room for improvement. My recall is excellent — I come right when called — and I love learning new things, especially when treats or toys are involved.

I get along great with other dogs and love playing with them. I even have a feline friend who I like to entice to play but I let her be the boss and settle for a cozy nap with her instead. I’m gentle with kids though I haven’t lived with one. I’m excited to meet everyone but I’ve been practicing sitting calmly before greetings.  Once I get over the initial excitement, I’m ready for all the belly rubs.

Did I mention, I love car/truck rides too?  I hop in no problem and ready to take on the next adventure together.
