Rocky and Stella:

Rocky is a gentle, soft-hearted sweetheart with a calm, soulful presence. He warms up slowly, preferring to quietly observe new people before offering his full affection, but once he trusts you, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal. He has lived comfortably with cats and young children and is known for his friendly, family-oriented nature. Rocky can feel a bit overwhelmed around new dogs, so slow, easy introductions help him feel confident. Inside the home, he is well-mannered, house-trained, and happiest when he’s close to his people. 

Stella is a joyful, people-loving girl who greets everyone with a wagging tail and an eager smile. She thrives on affection and adores attention from her humans. She is house-trained, good with children and cats, and carries a fun, goofy charm that makes her instantly endearing. She’s social with dogs, enjoys meeting new friends, and, with continued structured walk practice, will shine even brighter. Stella has a confident, happy-hearted personality and is always ready for her next moment of fun.

Together, Rocky and Stella are beautifully balanced. Stella’s outgoing confidence helps Rocky feel secure, while Rocky’s calm, gentle nature brings Stella comfort. They sleep near each other, explore together, and find reassurance simply by being close. Their bond is steady, heartwarming, and truly part of what makes them special. In a loving home, they will continue to grow, build confidence, improve their leash skills, and flourish side by side, exactly the way they’re meant to. 

Foster Update:

Rocky and Stella are settling in beautifully! Both are fully house trained and confidently let their foster know when it’s time to go outside. They’ve been enjoying exploring the yard and even discovered that the pool cover dips just enough for Stella to get a little splash and for Rocky to grab a drink; a funny little routine they’ve made their own.

At night, they were absolute angels. Rocky curled up snuggly on the bed while Stella stretched out comfortably at the foot, and both slept soundly through the night. They love being close and thrive with any opportunity to cuddle.

Stella has shown she's very agile and loves trotting around the yard, checking things out, and exploring her surroundings with confidence. Rocky is a sweetheart, actively seeking human attention, soaking up pets, and enjoying gentle snuggles. He’s been happy to take food gently from hand-feeding and is settling into the new routine well.

Both dogs have big, cuddly personalities and would flourish in a home where relaxing on the couch or bed is part of daily life. They’re affectionate, connected to their humans, and truly enjoy being part of the family.

Their foster is planning individual walks with them to help them continue learning the ropes, and they’re excited to see how Rocky and Stella progress! They’re already showing so much promise and sweetness.
