Hi friends, I’m Roxy!

I’m an 8-year-old sweetheart with a big heart and an easygoing, confident personality. I’m settlinginto this new chapter of life with growing confidence and a beautiful spirit. I’m the kind of girl who takes things in stride and just enjoys being part of the moment. Wherever my people are, that’s exactly where I want to be.

I’m a social, affectionate girl who loves to stick close by your side. I’ll happily follow you from room to room, just to see what you’re up to and keep you company. I’ve got a warm, loving nature and a gentle way about me that makes it easy for me to fit right into a home.

Car rides? I’m all in. I may need a little boost getting in, but once I’m settled, I relax nicely. I’m more than happy to be your co-pilot too, resting my head on your shoulder and enjoying the ride right alongside you.

I’ve been a wonderful house guest in my foster home. I sleep through the night and do a great job letting my humans know when I need to go outside. I also love getting out for walks! Exploring the neighbourhood, sniffing all the good smells, and just enjoying some fresh air. It’s one of my favourite parts of the day!

When it’s time to relax, that’s where my cuddly side really shines. I absolutely love being close to my people. I may be a bigger girl, but I’d happily sit or lean up against you on the couch! I lean in for pets, rub against your legs (a little like a cat!), and give you those sweet puppy eyes to ask for more attention. I may be older but that doesn’t stop my happy personality and ability to trot around and enjoy new adventures.

I’m currently enjoying the company of my foster’s dog and I bring a calm, happy presence to the home. After a nice bath (thanks to my fosters) my coat is soft and fluffy.

I’ve been told my smile can light up a room. My tail is almost always wagging, I’m just happy to be with my people and part of the family. I’m ready to find my forever home where I can share all this love, companionship, and happy energy every single day.
