Hi friends, I’m Sadie!

At 2½ years old, I’m a beautiful golden girl with a warm heart and a gentle spirit. I may be young, but I’m already discovering how wonderful life can be when you have kind people by your side. Every day I grow a little more confident, and my foster family says it’s been so special watching my personality start to shine.

I’m the kind of dog who really loves being near my people. Whether you’re moving around the house or relaxing for the evening, I like to quietly follow along just to keep you company and see what’s going on. My foster family says I have such a sweet and sensitive soul. Soft voices, patience, and positive encouragement help me feel safe and happy and hearing “good girl, Sadie!” makes my tail wag every time.

I’ve been a lovely house guest in my foster home. I sleep peacefully through the night and I’m learning the routine of going outside when I need to. I enjoy heading out for walks where I can take in the world one sniff at a time. There are so many interesting smells out there! After a little adventure, I’m always happy to come back inside and curl up somewhere cozy for a nap.

Since I’m currently the only dog in my foster home, I’ve been soaking up lots of one-on-one time with my people. I enjoy their company and have been learning that home life is full of comfort, kindness, and little moments that make my tail wag. 

New household sounds and activities are still a learning experience for me, but with gentle reassurance I continue to settle in and grow more confident each day.

Foster Update:

Sadie continues to settle in nicely and grow more comfortable in her environment each day. As she learns her routine and feels more secure, her gentle and affectionate nature really shines through. With patience, kindness, and encouragement, this young golden girl is blossoming into a loving companion who is ready to find a forever home to call her own.
