Hey Friends!

I’m Trix, a Golden Retriever with a heart just as golden as my fur. Everyone I meet says I have a gentle, sweet nature and I’ve been winning hearts wherever I go - even at the vet where I was told I was a total super star! I love meeting new people and other dogs, and I greet the world with a soft curiosity and a wagging tail. I’m the kind of girl who just wants to be near my people and share all the love I have to give.

I’m settling nicely into my foster home and showing more of my soft, loving personality each day. My life before was a bit quieter, so some things are still new to me, but I’m taking it all in stride and learning at my own pace. I enjoy relaxed walks where I can take in the sights and smells, and I’m really polite on leash. With a little patience and encouragement, I’m showing everyone just how eager I am to learn and please.

One thing that makes people smile is my adorable little curls on my legs. They give me a bit of extra Golden Retriever charm!

When I’m not out exploring, you’ll usually find me enjoying the simple things in life. I love cuddles, gentle pets, and spending time with my people. A little romp outside in a backyard followed by a cozy evening curled up beside my humans is pretty much my perfect day. I’m a calm, affectionate girl who truly thrives on companionship.

I’m also very polite and thoughtful. I take treats gently, love meeting new dog friends, and once I’m comfortable I happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. My foster says I’m such a sweetheart and that my loving spirit really shines through more each day.
