Meet Dolly

Hello friends, my name is Dolly! I’m a sweet 9-year-old with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. I’m a friendly, easygoing girl who loves being close to my people, getting lots of pets, and simply enjoying the day by your side. I’m the kind of girl who believes there is no such thing as too many pets! I will happily nudge my head up against you showing off my big doe eyes filled with love.

I’m very affectionate and love being near my people, whether we’re out enjoying a walk or relaxing together at home.

I’m a wonderful walking buddy and walk beautifully on leash. I love having time to sniff and explore everything around me, but I’m also perfectly happy to keep strolling along beside you. I have experience around other dogs and I’m good at passing by them while out and about, so I can focus on enjoying my walk and taking in all the interesting smells. I also love meeting people and am happy to say hello to new friends!

At home, I’m a total sweetheart. I’m housetrained, settle in nicely, and am happiest when I can be close to my people. I’m a good sleeper and absolutely love taking a cozy nap beside you on the couch. I might even check in on you while you’re sleeping just to make sure everything is okay - because that’s the kind of girl I am! I’m happy to relax and enjoy some quiet time, especially when it means I get to be right beside my favourite person.

I’m also a pretty smart cookie! I know how to sit and give paw, and I’ll happily show off my skills in the cutest way if there’s an extra yummy snack involved. I’m treat motivated and enjoy Kongs, and every now and then I like carrying my favourite toys around the house too.

I’m also great in the car and enjoy going along for the ride. One of my favourite things to do is look out the window and watch the world go by. There’s always something interesting to see!

Overall, I’m a gentle, friendly, easygoing girl who really just loves being with her people. Give me a nice walk, some yummy treats, a cozy spot to nap, a few toys to carry around, and plenty of pets, and I’ll be one very happy Dolly. I’m ready to find my forever family and spend my days doing what I love most - being right by your side!
