Miles is a 1-year, 10-month-old Lab mix who’s full of life, love, and a serious passion for swimming! Weighing about 70 lbs, Miles is playful, affectionate, and ready to be your new adventure buddy.

He’s well-trained, knows all his basic commands (and a few fun tricks), and walks beautifully on leash—but is also great off-leash in safe areas with excellent recall. Miles is dog-friendly, has lived peacefully with a cat, and greets most people with a happy, wagging tail. 

He hasn’t had much exposure to small kids and tends to keep to himself around them.

Fetch? Yes please—on land or in the water! He enjoys toys of all kinds and would love a home that gives him time to play, explore, and cuddle on the couch.

Miles is house-trained, respectful indoors, and fine being left alone for moderate periods—though Lab Rescue prefers homes where dogs aren’t left more than 4 hours without a potty/play break. He travels well in the car and loves being close to his person.

Miles is currently in foster with his previous family while we search for the perfect forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s smart, sweet, and always up for a splash, Miles might be your guy!
