Bumper here!  I'm 6 years old and thank to Lab Rescue I have a new lease on life.  As you might remember, I injured my knee recently and needed a surgery to fix it.  I'm on the other side of it now and recovering like a Champ!    My surgery is very common for large breed dogs and my knee will be like new in no time.   My friends at Lab Rescue are super experienced with this sort of thing and can walk my new family through it.  I just need a family to help me through the next little bit with at home stretches and gradual return to exercise. 

 

I have to toot my own horn for a minute here, I'm told I'm an awesome boy and any family would be lucky to have me.  I melt the hearts of everyone I meet including all the staff at the vet.  I'm just a gem, what can I say?  I walk well on a leash, have great house manners even when I'm alone, stay close when off leash on trail walks, and ride like a dream on long car trips.  

 

I'm great with young children having lived with toddlers and I had so many doggy friends in my previous home.  I get along great with dogs and hope to make new friends soon.  I've even lived with cats and was fine with them too!!

 

My personality is exactly what you would expect from my breed; super friendly, charming, affectionate, patient and adaptable.  Of course, I LOVE swimming too and I make a great cottage dog fetching sticks and swimming until my heart's content followed by a nice cuddle session with my people on the couch.

 

I'm looking for that compassionate family who will see me through my recovery to the days when I can get back to loving life at full speed again.  Could you love a "perfect" Lab like me?
